Vision Statement

To get youth to a place in their Christian walk where they can experience God’s love, power, peace and grace for themselves by training them in a way they should go; for when they are old, they will not depart. For they are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light

 

Goals

• By precept and example – we will teach our youth to be committed servants of God that are disciplined and well trained and properly prepared to effectively do their jobs.

• Build youth self esteem and character, so they can become a group of young people that are connected to God, free to worship God, and know that they are full of purpose by forming groups that cater to both the teen girls and boys.

• Teach our youth to seek the Lord while He may be found. To call upon Him while He is near-through prayer, worship and the Word.

• Build unity and fellowship among youth/youth leaders by scheduling activities outside of CMBC.

• Allow our youth to express themselves through worship and arts. Youth Activities
Chosen Generation Youth meets every 1st & 2nd Saturday of every month.

10am-11am: Jesus and ME (JAM) ages 5-11, Sis. Kristel Gilmore

10am-11am: Lyrics N Motion ages 12-17, Sis. Kiska Jones 10am-11am: Royal Ambassadors all young men, Min. Ray Ephraim

11am-12pm: Youth Choir Rehearsal, Bro. Johnathan Johnson

12pm-1pm: Bible Training, Deacon Fred Renfro

1pm-2pm: Club Chat Teen girls ages 12-17, Sis. Crystal Reed
Parent Information Meetings are held every 2nd Saturday of every month from 1pm-2pm

Youth Day is every 2nd Sunday of the month
