Vision

Vision Statement

 

The word of God says that where there is no vision, the people shall perish. In that vein, by seeking God and in communion with His Blessed Son Jesus Christ, Pastor Gary M. Renfro set forth the vision for the Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.

In the two thousand and third year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the vision that was defined for the CMBC ministry was
 

TO BE A PLACE WHERE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES CAN EXPERIENCE GOD.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Church Objectives

 

• TO REJOICE and give thanks to Jehovah our Creator, “act-knowledging” that we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
• TO REFLECT the teachings of the Beloved Son of God, Jesus Christ, in our daily walk and be disciples according to examples given by the Apostles who spread the Gospel of the Resurrection.
• TO RECLAIM the Christians who have strayed from the grace and mercy that is gifted to them by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• TO RECRUIT new Christians and provide them with a solid foundation for maturing their faith.
• TO RESPOND to the spiritual, physical, and social needs of our church and community.
