Lady Vivian Renfro

Vivian Renfro is a native of Houston, Texas, she is the youngest of three siblings.  She received her Bachelor degree from Prairie View A&M University and Master’s degree from University of Texas Austin.  She is a Human Resource Manager for a local Research and Development Organization. She is the former chairperson of the Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering, former board member of Inroads Inc.’s Austin affiliate, Children’s Haven Inc. and continues to serve today as a board member of Meals on Wheels.  Vivian has been married to the man of her dreams, Pastor Gary M. Renfro for 31 years and has been the Lady of Corinth Missionary Baptist church (CMBC) since January 2002. She is an active member of CMBC participating in the Marriage Ministry and Deaconesses, JWA Auxiliary, and Ministers Wives Auxiliary.  She also serves as a Sunday School teacher, Youth Ministry Leader, and wherever she is needed in the church.  She is one that gives her best whenever and wherever; always preferring to serve, rather than to be served.  She serves as a wonderful lady V and her husband’s helpmate, as she raises three wonderful children: David, Rachel, and Rebekah.   When it comes to her children, they are priority.  She provides her children with opportunities to learn and have fun, while teaching them the importance of respect and obedience.  She believes it takes a village to raise a child.  Other than being a mom, she loves to pass on what her mom instilled in her as a child and that is to help others by encouraging them to do and be their absolute best.  Vivian also believes in the power of prayer and that God has control over every situation.
